The last 5 weeks have been the most horrible in my recent life.
I blew out a tire on my 2009 car, got thrown into a median with trees and shrubs, and had to shut the car off to get it to stop.
I have GEICO insurance, but they now outsource all their parts, they get them all from a junk yard no matter what year the car.
That helps to make the deductable cover all the cost of repairs so they do not have to pay out.
And...if you ask for full coverage on your insurance policy, you better STATE exactly what you mean by full coverage, as they even refused to pay my hospital and doctor bills.
So I ended up with a repair bill for my car of $2,600.00. I have all the paperwork to prove this.
Then I had to trade my car in, as I am on social security, and get a lesser car, a 2007, as I could not come up with all this above money.
Then, I had emergency surgery a few days after that.
My pelvic cavity and intestines will never be the same again.
I found out a few days after that about the 2007 car, none and I mean none of the repairs for fluids or special maintanence works were done on this car.
Now I have to play catch up with the repairs, another cost I can not cover.
Then my daughter's pacemaker is not working correctly and needs to be changed out.
The insurance company wants to wait another month to see what is going on and if she does not die, then they will replace it.
And to top that all off, someone, a real jerk, knocked a window out in my apartment and stole my dell all in one computer.
I called the police, but no results there.
We do have fingerprints and shoe prints.
All numbers have been sent to the theft department in case some one tries to sell it at a pawn shop.
The way my luck goes, I will never see it again.
I am not doing well with the surgery, as I was sent home the next day, and had to take care of myself.
I had very little help from my daughter, not that I really thought there would be much.
My grandkids are upset as they were with me when I found the break-in.
My birthday will be on a Friday coming up.
Not a good day for me ever.
