Actually, time for a little story.
I love Arizona, but rain here can be a real problem.
Rain, rain, go away.
Come back another day.
We had some rain storms 2 weeks ago and a little last week.
We are in our monsoon season.
Well...I know we need rain and never get enough for the year.
Even though I have severe ambulation problems, and use a walker to walk, I moved my furniture in my bedroom that was up against the wall where all the water leaked from the roof and down the cinder block wall.
Now, I know we never get enough rain, but I have just so many towels to soak up the rain.
I can only afford so much money at the laundry mat across the street that I have to haul my laundry to.
I called the landlord and the fixer guy came over, could not find the hole where it was leaking, he said.
Said he would come back the next day when the roof was all dry and look for it.
He never came back and it rained again.
So more towels down for the next rain.
3 more hauls to the laundry mat to get it all caught up...not done yet.
I found the maintainence manager walking in the parking lot.
I told him we were to have more rain and my roof was not fixed yet.
He was told it was.
In his broken Spanish/English, he said he would send the other guy over to fix it.
No one came.
It rained last night, early evening, a lot.
My bedroom was getting very wet, and the cats were howling at the water coming into the room from the cinder block wall.
The office was closed but I called the emergency line, no one called back.
I had to move furniture back out, as I had put it all back in the day before thinking it was fixed.
This time the water was much more and much worse.
No one answered my call.
No one came.
I called again.
No one answered the emergency line.
No one called back with the messages I left.
I called my daughter.
She did not care.
I called the 911 because water was coming out my electrical outlet.
I had all my TV and phone and internet cable stuff in that outlet, of course.
I turned everything off and got out surge protectors and re-routed all that stuff.
When I pulled the electrical cords out of the first outlet, the prongs were wet.
I dried them off before putting them into the newer surge protectors.
The police that came said that the apartments would be responsible for any damage.
I said well, if there is an electrical fire, that takes care of it all.
I can not afford to replace this equipment.
But he helped me get down to where the leaks were, and there are quite a few of them.
And said to call the fire dept. next time as they handle that type of hazzard.
Well, the 911 operator is the one that sent the police. I told her I did not know who I needed to help me.
The police even tried to call the emergency line and they could not get anyone to call back.
What a mess this is.

This tag kept my computer program going for over 1 hour to finish the scripting. It ran and ran, and because I was using the side wording, it took a long time to turn the tag back and forth.
But it worked out pretty well.
Next part of this tag is here.

More of this set here, below.
It is an unusual set and style tag for me.
It is on a transparent background.
Gown on model is from the 30's.
Very different dress. I wish we had clothes like that now.
They are so elegant.

I know, more birds.
What can I say?
Birds are so lovely and colorful.
You can put birds in almost any tag and the tag turns out well.
More of this set below.
~~~Continuing on, I found one of the workers for the apartment walking outside, as I was going to take the garbage out, and told him what happened yesterday with the rain.
He did not care.
He did not come see what happened.
He said to call the office.
This font turned out pretty great on this tag.
Peacocks, as I have mentioned before, are one of my favorite birds for tags.
I wish I had some real peacocks, but my cats would do a number on them.
Every once and a while, one of the tags from a previous page pops up into the next set of tags.
I do not know how it gets there, as I did not put it there.
But, it can stay.
You never know if someone would like the odd ball tag.
I am going to add some "Mari" tags here.
Great way to save and not loose precious things.
~~~Continuing, I have learned over the years to season my words with salt, and to keep my temper reeled in before speaking.
But this rain problem is getting me down.
I can not physically move furniture all the time.
I can not be on the phone begging for help to fix things that are supposed to be fixed.
I am tired of being told, "Do you really want this door fixed?"
Or, "We have to get the parts for this."
Some of the work orders to fix things that are not done yet are over 1 month old.
I think I am patient.

I really am blessed with so many internet friends with so much talent.
They come up with so great an idea for a tag.
Very diversified.
Different techniques used and color combos.
Really sensational work.

Time for another set of tags.
I started a new folder of tags to script.
These are the ones following here.

This group of tags, the girls are real skinny.
I almost wish I was that skinny, as all the cute clothes are now for real skinny gals.
But then, again, I realize if they turn sideways, you can not see them.
Or they look too haggard and boney.
Or when they get sick, they are really sick as they have nothing to recover with.
So I am glad to be chunky.
